Front Desk Coordinator

Chelsey was born and raised in Alaska. She has a wonderful husband, Jacob and two beautiful children. In their free time they enjoy doing all the Alaska things; camping, fishing, hiking and hunting. Chelsey completed the Dental Assisting program with South Central Foundation in 2015 and was a dental assistant for over 8 years.

Hygienist

Miranda, RDH

Miranda moved to Alaska when she was 7-years-old and has been blessed to call it home ever since. She has worked in the dental field for 20 plus years serving in various rolls. She earned her Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2014. She has worked with Dr. Blackburn since 2015 and now has the privilege of joining him at Kobuk Family Dental. Miranda keeps her license and knowledge up to date by taking continuing education classes. She enjoys delivering gentle, quality care.

Miranda loves spending time outdoors with friends and family. She loves hiking and biking, but her real passion is long distance backpacking. She has two adult sons and a grandson.

You will find Miranda at Kobuk Family Dental unless she is taking time off for a long walk.

Clinic Manager

George

George would like for you all to know that he has a beautiful wife Brandis and son Declan, with two furry children as well Bahgeera and Ari. In the short Alaskan summers George likes to be outside enjoying our endless sun. Either doing home projects or just having fun spending time with family. In winters George likes to stay home and just enjoy the crisp air. George has had 5 years experience in dental, completing south central foundations dental assistant technology course and is looking forward to working with everyone!!
